Such a great read
New dog is off to a friend’s house for recovery — both hers and ours — and we’re grateful but still very sad over it all.
New dog won’t stop crying, makes Gryphon cry, and the mix is damn near pushing *me* to cry. This situation is awful. :(
If I had hair left to tear out, I’d be tearing it out about now.
The new dog just drew non-trivial blood from Gryphon - it’s over, I’m not endangering him more :(
So, the dogs may not get along so well - I love the new one but she’s viciously gone after Gryphon twice now. :(
Sitting with the new dog as she eats. Thinking her aggression is due to surgery and not going to last, we hope. Fingers crossed.
Have the dogs separated, she’s doing okay but he keeps bugging her and she needs time to recover
The city fixed our dog today, but nobody called up to pick her up - SO ANGRY AT THE CITY

So, the dog is now adopted, but we can’t bring her home until Monday night :(
I can not believe the mess that trying to adopt a dog has become. It’s worth it, but man, what a fight.
Great minds think alike: What about mediocre minds? Horrible minds? Is it that great minds really do think alike, or just parallel ones do?
Looks like we’re going to be able to get a new dog from the city pound, but the city has *not* made it an easy ordeal. Total nightmare. Ugh.
Hearing about last.fm’s shift to full song streaming has me using the service again for the first time since 2005. Streaming some Daft Punk.
Good news: Looks like the cute dog will be sent back to ABQ tomorrow, so that we can pick her up. Exciting!
Lisa went to adopt a cute dog this morning, but the shelter told us she was put on a truck for Denver — trying to track her down now. :(
