November 2008
A few people are over including my nephews, who’ll be trick or treating here shortly. They’re both dressed as Batman. There can be only one?

Lisa has joined me in iPhone ownership. :D
Lisa has already gotten three calls on her new iPhone. She’s so popular.
Standing in line, waiting to vote early. Kind of exciting, in a way. Hopefully it’ll be fast.
Primarily being tweeted for @Harmony77 but I think many others could enjoy it. http://tinyurl.com/6hxz2z
A shirt I could see a lot of my followers enjoying: http://tinyurl.com/5vs3vr
http://twitpic.com/j5h3 I voted :) (earlier Tweet was delayed by lack of network)
Asymmetric gear heart sculpture - Hack a Day →
Quite impressive
Rigged up a little stand for my iPhone, am listening to podcasts while working with a neat little display. Very pleasing.

I need to read this later
So, now that I’ve had my iPhone for a few days, I’m hooked, and curious about jailbreaking. Anyone done it? What level of success? Worth it?
Technobabble: I can now say I’ve done AJAX/JSON work in both Prototype & jQuery. I think I’m leaning towards jQuery more and more these days
I wish I had more willpower with food. It’s really quite depressing.
Apparently, my vote means more in my home state than it would in any other: http://tinyurl.com/5ky6n6
Tweetin’ from bed, watching headlines on Leno. Rough day, will be glad for it to be done. Bedtime, g’night.
While I don’t have intent to use them, I love that @majornelson sends tweets with beta codes for World @ War on Xbox 360. Pretty neat stuff.
November starts on Saturday! Where the heck did this year go? Seriously. I’m going to be 30 in like, three months. Kinda freaks me out.
Sending out huge email to side job management. 2,588 words, 30 paragraphs, 5 pages printed. I have a few issues and am finally detailing ‘em
Mavis Beacon doesn’t just teach typing: http://tinyurl.com/6dwlod
Realization: My sense of humor is probably due in part to the hundreds of MAD magazines that I read as a child. I do love me some crassness.
Remember kids, even employers can read Facebook: http://tinyurl.com/68ekvu
My picture isn’t done editing yet, but the business guy needed one for now - here’s the result for now http://bit.ly/BA_Resume_Draft1 is PDF
I’m dressed in a jacket and tie today for photo, at work, bluetooth headset, toting iPhone, poking at screen. I bet I look like a HUGE tool.
So, I hear Sarah Palin’s making plans for her next career, once the VP bit falls through.
She’s going to be an astronaut. She can see the moon from her house. She’s totally qualified.
Writing an email to my side job team describing today’s problems as an onion of complexity. I’d peel back layer after layer, ending in tears
I’m stuck at home, doing side job work. Lisa’s out, looking at houses. She has my iPhone for maps and such things. She seems to like it too.
So, my computer just had a heart attack or something. http://twitpic.com/i24u Leaving it off awhile. :(
I wasn’t a fan of Twitterific on the Mac, but the iPhone? Too great.
From the iPhone →
So, I’m just writing a quick post to test out the WordPress application for the iPhone.
I totally caved in. It’s not so bad so far. The auto correction is kinda neat so far.
I’m in the living…
So, now that I’m “in the club” — what apps do people recommend? Definitely getting Evernote and Pandora, wish I could get Netshare.
While I don’t have extensive time with it yet, I feel fairly pleased with the decision. Lisa may follow in my footsteps, she’s eligible soon
Posting from my iPhone.
Breaking down. Checking out.
Silly and totally work-safe, family-safe joke of the day: What’s the difference between ignorance and apathy? I don’t know and I don’t care.
All my iPhone owning friends: Worth it for $200? What about $400?
So, I’m totally on the edge of buying an iPhone. It’s very annoying, considering how frustrated I am/was with Apple’s closed-ness.
Signs that I’m riding high on stress: I find myself dropping f-bombs all over the place. That little kid totally had it coming, though.
I’m seriously biting my tongue with an anti-Palin tweet because it’d probably gross out/offend a friend. If you’d like to hear it, msg me.
Did you know: @MCHammer has a Twitter account. He’ll totally follow you back too. Kind of amusing to think about. Wonder if he’ll read this.
Wings ‘n’ Things offers free WiFi. I’m enjoying wings that were voted Best of Burque 2008 by Alibi. Readin’ some internet. Today is good. :)
My friend cancelled lunch on me, so I’m heading out late. Trying Wings n Things again to see if it’s improved. I’m a glutton for punishment.
It really sucks to have my own window but to be unable to open it because people whine and bitch about the sunlight. My poor plant needs it.
Brain is fried. Have to be up at 5am. G’night twitter.
I am feeling absolutely burnt out and run down. This has been one hell of a work week, and it’s only Tuesday. Weekend already looks busy too
The 20 bonus DLC songs (free with a code from RB2 manual) are pretty much all up-and-coming bands, no big names. Boo I say, boooooooooooooo.
Dog food get! Now, to home - They’re always so happy to see me, and today they’ll go even crazier, as they’ll recognize their food packages.
Today’s “something new”: LDAP queries feel counter-intuitive to me, but WOW, I can pull a *bunch* of info about people, with a simple query.
I’m only listening to this song on the radio because it was in the SNL ad for Schmitt’s Gay, with Adam Sandler and Chris Farley.
