TwitterFox doesn’t seem to be picking up all tweets. Anyone else having this problem? (Ironically, if you are, you may not see this message)
Someone in the office is blasting a really bad cover of Stand By Me. It’s penetrating my headphones, and therefore also my brain. Ugh.

I’m not sure what’s worse, having to wait for code to compile or waiting for Visual Studio to publish our Intranet. Compiled websites, argh.

Is it wrong to write switch cases that are “empty” with nothing but comments that say “Explicitly not taking actions for this condition”? :)
I’ve submitted several errors to an iPhone SDK book currently in beta. Am feeling fairly productive. Now though, it’s time for World of Goo.

Digging through some old folders, I ran into my collection of stuff from my dad. Love letter to my mom, and his obit. Sonofabitch that hurt.
Five nights in a row of newbie guitar learnin’. Fingers hurt - but for the first time - not as much as the night prior. Very exciting to me.
Havin’ a breakfast panini, doing what I can to get moving this morning. Am trying out the official iPhone 3G dock to hook up to the work PC.
Some solid guitar learning/practice followed by fun and rewarding iPhone development play! It’s been a damn good night. Should go to bed now
Beat the crap out of my fingers for the fourth day straight now. Stopped because I think I nearly shred my pinky up. But hey - Michael rows.
I don’t know why, but I’ve been feeling exhausted and drained all afternoon. I didn’t even eat a big lunch or anything. 30 mins and I’m done

Wow, this is really taking quite a long time. The iPhone remembered where the core apps had been located, but everything else is shuffled up
Restore complete, I believe. Didn’t seem to lose any data, which makes me happy. Just took awhile. Phew. I should be a bit quieter, for now.
Still not done - syncing over photos now, audio and video have been restored, along with all apps, so hopefully it’ll actually be done soon.
Still installing. I also realize I’m going to lose all of the screen customization I’d done, moving icons around and whatnot - I think. Ugh.
iPhone restore complete, a “backup” was put in place (which I think is all of my settings/saved info), reinstalling music and 100+ apps now.
So, apparently rapidly changing settings and pressing “Apply” mid-sync with an iPhone is enough to hose the software entirely. Restoring now

Three days of at least 1hr of guitar has my fingers nearly throbbing. The pain goes away soon, right? I think so. I can still type, happily.
“Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego” would make an AWESOME fit for the iPhone, I think. Someone needs to get on that.
What’s better than cold pizza for breakfast? Putting a smoky, thick BBQ sauce on top of that pizza! So tasty. Mmm mmm!
Wound up playing more guitar. My fingertips weep, but it pleases me so. Lisa says she’s impressed at how quickly I’m picking it up. Woot! :)

Can’t believe it’s already 10pm. We took a lazy day. Bought new shoes, spent a gift certificate, played with guitar. A good, restful day. :)
For reference. I can pluck out Michael Row the Boat Ashore and a C scale covering almost two octaves, without watching where I’m picking. :)
Okay, seriously, going to bed now. Been surfing guitar tutorials on the phone while in bed. I’ll shut up about guitar crap soon, I swear. :D

I don’t know how long I was just playing around with my new guitar, but my fingers HURT. Seriously. C’mon callouses, build up fast. Ouch. :)
On the other hand, I can play a couple of chords decently cleanly and can sorta kinda pluck out bits of Ode to Joy and Smoke on the Water :D
At home, thinking of getting some pizza delivered in a bit. Some pretty snow outside.
Playing around with Twitterific and iPhone games while Lisa shops for beads in this store on Menaul.
Finally home after around ten hours of no less than four family stops. Four Christmases isn’t just a crappy movie for us. It’s totally real.
Anyone have any suggestions for guitar-related iPhone apps?
