I am impressed at how tasty (and spicy) this beef and bean chili is. It’s so freakin’ good. Lisa is awesome, and SB is easier than expected.
Also, today marks five days in a row of intense walks (including the dog)! We’re feeling it, but it’s good. Go go positive life changes!

Was sucking on a (sugar-free) hard candy, and it developed a sharp edge. I think I just cut my tongue, because now the candy tastes coppery.

Mexican for lunch (Garduno’s, specifically). They have a low carb menu! Not having chips and salsa with the lunch just felt wrong, though.
Today’s midmorning snack: A little bit of lunchmeat and half of a slice of mozzarella, rolled up in a lettuce leaf. Better than it sounds.
Dinner: A big chunk of steak, marinated in… something Lisa set up, and seven spears of asparagus. Oh, and a Sprite Zero. I’m lovin’ it.
Just finished a 30min walk through a nearby neighborhood, including some steepish hills. Good workout. Now, we grill up something. Tasty!
Day 1 on the new diet: Lunch was a giant salad with grilled chicken and a balsamic vinaigrette I made myself, followed by sugar-free Jello.
On the whole: Damn tasty. I think it’s going to be okay.
Had our last sandwich for a couple of weeks. Bye, breads. See you soon.
Date change for Rock Band to june 13! Woo!
Irony is buying a diet book and a chocolate bar at the same time.
Thinkin of having a Rock Band and BBQ Friday evening, on June 6th. More details soon!
Am up way the heck too late - stupid WoW. Oh well, tomorrow - or really, today - starts late anyways. Yay Fridays!
While I may be up late in WoW though, the rewards were great: Something like three epic pieces of gear. Joy is mine!
I can not stand this Fergie song - so why can’t I change the radio?!? Don’t you hate when you associate good memories with bad songs?
Actually, I hate it more when I associate good music to bad memories. I still can’t listen to some of the best Stevie Wonder any more.
You may be all strung out now, Bobby Brown, but your 80s/90s pop is still just so darn catchy. Plus, it’s making of think of Ghostbusters!
I love seeing random hot air balloons floating through the sky. One of the best things in this town, hands down.

For the past few weeks, Lisa and I have been trading off on sickness. She had a bad cold, then I got it, and then I severely messed up my back somehow. I wish I knew what I did, but one day it was…
I’m walking through a Blockbuster video store, so I can look for new titles for my Netflix queue.
Finally got around to finishing the storyline in Professor Layton on the DS. Great game. :)
My dog was pretty bad on a walk we just took, so I’m embarrassing him on the net. Bad dog! Bad dog! For shame! Bad dog!
Finally using our Pottery Barn gift cert from Christmas
Off to dinner and potentially shopping or something
Now see, here’s some Zapp and Roger - I don’t feel bad about knowing this well. :D
And now, some NWA - again, I know the song by heart. I don’t know if I should laugh or cry.
Ditty by Paperboy just played on the radio. I still knew it word for word. From 92. I remember when I liked it. Why?!?

I’m intrigued, and I think I might see if I can push to build something similar at work!
I just had someone hand me a printed out email, highlighted. Why was paper wasted on this? I’d have much rather had it in my business email.
Boss: “We’re about to do bad things to the web database. If people call and say the intranet is down, just say ‘Yeah, we know’.” Good times.
Time to go lay on an ice pack for 20 minutes, and then off to bed. Another action-packed day tomorrow!
Last week’s chiropractic was some of the most painful ever. This week? So great. Most improvement in one adjustment ever, maybe.
Some lady with a handle of @LisaArn is following me now on here. Does anyone know who that could be?
Other anniversaries this week: Thursday marks five years since my dad passed away. I suspect it’s going to be a hard day.
I’m amused that I used “twas”, instead of “It was”, in order to fit just right into the 140 character constraint. Ah, 140 chars, satisfying.
If they hadn’t divorced, today would be my parents’ 30th anniv. Married on tax day. I’m not sad about the divorce though, twas a good thing.
I blame @madmup for getting me into researching virtualization options for my Mac again. VirtualBox: Fail. CX Games: Meh. Trying Parallels.
Neat concept: http://theplug.net/28/strangerphotos.htm
Sometimes, just writing out a large reply to someone is good enough. I don’t know how many times I’ve simply not posted comments to someone.
