Our company is finally pushing out IE7 to all of our users - we have to be using IE, but finally — no more IE6. Almost crying tears of joy.

Developing Rails Applications on Mac OS X Leopard →
We went and saw “Get Smart” as a Sunday matinee. It was pretty decent, especially if you like Steve Carell. Invoked some classic lines, etc.
I’m joining the modern Mac users these days, and have finally installed Twitterific. I hear it’s quite awesome, so, we’ll see!
After a brief stint loving Firefox 3, I think I’m going back to Safari. FF3 is quite nice, but Safari is a lil’ faster and still works well.

I’ve also managed to get a 20x20 grid going, running for over 10k ticks (in Safari, since the memory isn’t leaking). I’m easily entertained.
Also, once I break ~10,000 life cells, the script execution really bogs down, but that’s not surprising at all, really. :D
Somewhat surprising discovery: my (cleaner) implementation of Life in JS isn’t leaking memory at all in Safari, but in FF it bloats horribly
In the event that you opened up the thing I linked - you probably don’t want to leave it running overnight or anything.
See, it may kind of eat your RAM up. I have no idea how bad it could be leaking (hopefully not too bad). Still testing. :D
I just implemented a version of Conway’s Game of Life using javascript and the Canvas tag. I feel giddy for some reason. :D

Hot chocolate is good. Overly aggressively stirring it and splashing yourself with it is not so good. It burns, it burns! Not too much, tho.
I’m actually feeling some soreness from yesterday’s pushups. I think over the span of the sets, I did ~25 pushups. Kinda feels nice, really.

Hey may not have been my biological father, but he was more of a father to me than anyone else. Happy Father’s day John, love you, miss you.
I’ve gone nearly two months, weighing myself every morning when I get up. However, today didn’t follow routine, and I forgot - I feel stupid
Out to a late night post-movie dinner. Mmm, Chili’s. Hope the fajitas come out good.
Iron Man was even better than I ever could have hoped for. Such a great film. I definitely want to get that DVD. So good.
At the theater, seeing Iron Man while Lisa watches Sex and the City. We’re with another couple, also split between the movies. Good times :)
Hearing about Tim Russert’s death has me on the edge of tears. It’s not like I even knew the guy. Stupid emotions.
I’m in quite a sour mood today, and I’m not sure that I really know why. Here’s to hoping for some improvement as the afternoon moves onward
I’m wearing my watch for the first time in a long time. How long? It’s still not updated to Daylight Saving Time. I really should change it.
Due to FDA warnings in NM, there are no tomatoes at Subway. I’m glad I won’t be getting sick, but it really stinks to get no tomatoes. :(
Waitin’ for the chiropractor, thinkin’ that I wish I had my laptop or my DS or an iPhone or something other than my basic phone to pass time
Realization: If I were on the VPS I’m looking at, and had a page spike randomly like I did in ‘05: $400+ bill that month. Suddenly, no urge.
Considering signing up for VPS hosting, although I really have no *need* of it. I miss having a root environment on the web, though.
