February 2009
I think we’ve been playing this one game of Power Grid for 2.5 hours. Nearly over, though.

iMovie ‘09 handles these Zi6 video clips beautifully. That being said, analyzing for stability (obviously) takes a LOT longer.
So looking forward to tomorrow (Saturday), nothing but board games and Rock Band 2 with friends. It will be most awesome. Way to end my 20s.
Spent 30 minutes with the Skate 2 Filmer DLC - uploaded two pics, three video cuts - of a simple 15 second trick done with my friend Hinkle.
At a birthday dinner, a bit early due to busy weekend - Lisa got me a kodak Zi6!!! Woo HD video recording in my pocket!
Cleaning up in prep for party tomorrow. Just took down the last of the Christmas lights outside. Kinda forgot about those ones.
I’m getting a manicure after work. I’m greatly looking forward to it. Yes, I am still a man, totally comfortable with it. They’re so great.
I’ve also had a pedicure, but I can’t do those anymore. I’m too ticklish. I nearly kicked the woman in the face during that.
Twitter survey (twurvey?): Does the phrase “Throw the horns” mean something to you? If so, what sort of action is it? (I know what it means)
http://www.funis2cool.com/?p=2528 - that bed looks like a lot of fun. I’m severely censoring my initial response.
My iPhone just slipped out of my hand and went flying a good ten feet. Here’s to hoping it’s okay.
I need to find a job where I only work the second half of the day but still get paid for the whole day. That’d be nice.

Spent time over my lunch break playing with iMovie ‘09 video stabilization. Quite stunning. Will have to make a simple comparison video soon
Very much looking forward to Saturday birthday stuff. Board games and Rock Band all day. Should be tons of fun. :)
Using iMovie ‘09 and themes, I took my rough 30-second video clips from our Europe trip in 2007 and made a lil’ movie - http://bit.ly/244PMY
I think if I tweeted more than a third of my thoughts, I’d give half the people listening to this thing a heart attack.
Man, I could spend hours playing with iPhoto ‘09 Faces. This is just so great. Enjoying revisiting all these pictures. :)
Now that iPhoto has scanned every one of my photos for faces, I’m going through and identifying people. It’s simply stunning! <3
Watching iPhoto ‘09 scan through a bunch of faces is a bit… weird.
Installing iLife ‘09, playing around with the source files for JoCo Looks Back, since I finally got my CC donation USB drive - a good night.
I do so love that I can get diet Mountain Dew at this Quizno’s. Waiting on @JMW’s arrival and then there’ll be tasty subs eaten.
Hey Twitter, how’s it goin? You’re a web service, huh? What’s that all about? Only 140 characters, yeah? Well, say hi to your mother for me.
Why does Gmail still have the “Invite a Friend” box? I don’t know that I’ve sent an invite since the days I could sell them.
The Fit is averaging 42.1mpg so far. Wish I’d had this thing a few months or years ago! Such a freakin awesome car. So happy.

A haiku, to my mental state: Lunch lunch lunch lunch lunch / Lunch lunch lunch lunch lunch lunch lunch / Lunch lunch lunch lunch lunch.
Skate 2: If you liked the first, the second is amazing, and worth playing. If you didn’t like the first, you probably won’t like the second.
A version of Fantastic Contraption has been released for the iPhone! So happy.
We’re getting a dog door installed today. I think it’ll be a good thing.
First Fit fill-up at 306.4 miles. $15.50 to fill at $1.769 a gal, car says it got 37.4 mpg on that first tank. Loving this car so much. :)
People, it was a retweet, I know the word. :) Also, @JMW they’re gaining ground in business :P it’s a good time to be an Apple fan.
I’m enjoying the Kids in the Hall videos that some of you are posting. So glad for YouTube on the iPhone. :D favoriting them all for later.
Chillin’ at Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, enjoying a bit of lunch before heading off to work on an awesome side project that I have high hopes for.
RT @wilshipley Microsoft: ‘lower earnings that miss estimates.” Apple: best quarter ever. Damn what’s that German word for what I’m feeling?

I recall learning about memoization in my CS program, but this implementation is way slicker than anything I would have done in CS.
iWork ‘09 is out - but iLife ‘09 is not. I want my new iPhoto and GarageBand already. C’mon, Apple. Please. Don’t make me beg too much more.
Never gonna catch up →
So yeah, I made it six days into NaBloPoMo. That’s amusing. Oh well. I enjoy writing and all, but trying to do it as a daily thing wound up turning it into something of a chore, and that’s not…
It’s a good Fit →
I’ve been holding back on posting this one, because I wanted to wait until Jason had a chance to see it in person. Not sure why, just, felt like I wanted to share with him and a few others in…

Listening to a band named Cut Copy courtesy of http://tinyurl.com/btuezz - upbeat, fun, new-wave-y.
Now that @RDMCurator has seen it I can finally tweet and say that I got a new 2009 Honda Fit! Whee! Happy Birthday to me (sorta, lil early)!
To all those following me from @grader, be warned, I’m like a cobbler without shoes, in that my personal website is horribly neglected. :D
IE has the weirdest bugs ever. Seriously. What the heck, Microsoft.
I have no idea why in the hell some IT groups think blocking zip files is a good idea. It’s not. There are totally valid business uses. >:-(
