It’s not pretty or anything, but if you’re in a browser that supports <audio>, http://www.brianarnold.org/lab/html5drums/ is kinda neat.
I really need better sound samples that I can lean on, these were just randomly grabbed off the tubes somewhere.
Actually, I take that back - I know it works in FF3.5 on Windows, haven’t tried anywhere else successfully. Safari 4 Win chokes and dies. :D
I could really really really use some good wav samples if anyone has some, like a set of tones from an 808 or some 8-bit stuff.

How to implement impersonation in an ASP.NET... →
That <identity impersonate=”true” /> in the web.config is handy - note, belongs in <system.web> area.
With @JMW out of the country, I have no idea what I’m going to do for lunch today. My world is collapsing!
Firefox 3.5 makes me happy in ways I can’t properly describe.
There is something immensely satisfying when one is building reports with complex queries and charts and it all works out. Woo charts!
What a great image. RT @timaroo PURE EPIC BRILLANCE!!!!! Brought to. By @cronus @timaroo and kevalev http://twitpic.com/8t6ok
Remote Desktop means I have to hear the Windows startup sound many more times per day than I wish I did.
StackOverflow is simultaneously awesome and irritating. I like answering questions, but I’m apparently verbose enough to be too slow. :P
Neat stuff! RT @TPIRhost View from Contestant’s Row. New LCD monitors to display bids. Same font/colors. All 4 HD. http://yfrog.com/0nwhkj
For as much as I enjoy the ‘net, I’m glad I didn’t have it as a kid. Helps me realize what an amazing resource it is, not taken for granted.
I really think this Achewood strip, especially the last two panels, really describes why MJ’s death hit me pretty hard. http://bit.ly/HETqO
Also, apparently TweetDeck dropped a tweet or two from others. Is there no third-party tool I can trust? Other than Twittelator, anyways.
A new item for my “Never again” list! “Drop a liter of olive oil and watch it shatter, then clean up the mess while restraining two dogs.”
I find myself with a little personal time just for me to do whatever, and I’ve wound up spending it surfing MJ songs on iTunes.
I can’t help but wonder how soon we’ll see a posthumous release of MJ music, and what form it’ll take, older or newer stuff, etc.
I swear, I logged into Stack Overflow once using my Creative Commons OpenID, but it hasn’t worked since that one time. Arg.
http://twitpic.com/8ox8a When my friend got married, all of his wedding party (such as myself) got gifts of our names in Arabic. :)
Shot from last night that wouldn’t upload then: lots o wires. http://yfrog.com/5idl5j
I’m with @LisaArn as she shops for beads. Quite pretty beads. http://twitpic.com/8l6y9
Sleep study over. Sleeping with 26 electrodes hurt a lot leas than ripping off 26 electrodes. Ow. Getting ready to check out.
Can’t seem to tweet a pic, so I’ll just go text. I have no idea how I’m supposed to sleep with all these freakin’ wires on my head.
About to head to my sleep study, where I’ll be sleeping in a huge Quest software shirt courtesy of @BrentO. Shirt that is 5x too big ftw!
For as odd as he got at the end, MJ was a great musician and I find that I’m responding to the jokes a bit… more sensitively than I should

It can be immensely frustrating to feel like I could create anything I want on the web, but have no idea what to actually create.

I am enjoying this diet Mt. Dew and sugar-free dark chocolate made with Splenda way more than it seems like I should be.
Did you know: Gout is the number one cause of pain and discomfort in 30 year old white males named Brian with the same SSN as me.
Today marks 9 years that I’ve been married to my lovely wife. In binary, 1001 years. I love her more every day, my heart buffer overflows.
I have a feeling I’m going to be uploading tons more video. My puppies on YouTube or Flickr: http://bit.ly/qAU1U or http://bit.ly/DZOn1
I can’t really ride rollercoasters but AirCoaster 3D is some of the best 99c I’ve spent on an iPhone app. Almost invokes my fear of heights!
In talking to @futuraprime about my past car accidents, I have no idea how I have the courage to drive still.
Yay, finally got through the Iron Maiden track pack on expert guitar. Fun times. Only had to repeat one song. #rb http://twitpic.com/85xg1
Quick, I need new ringtone inspiration. Go!
I think I’ma have to go with the 8bit Keyboard Cat from http://www.doctoroctoroc.com/ - because that’s awesome. <3 8-bit stuff for ringtones
When something is broken and it’s just in IE6 but I have to fix it anyways, I approach the verge of tears. Why do people not upgrade? :( :(
It’s been seven of these father’s days like this now, and it’s still hard. Miss you dad. Love you.
I think oleophobic may be one of my new favorite words.
Wondering if we got an iPhone 3GS on her line, then swapped SIM cards, if that’d work.
AT&T says @LisaArn’s line is eligible for cheaper upgrade phone options, but mine isn’t. What the heck, AT&T. Arg.
