RT @fraserspeirs: Maybe next week Obama could have a beer with the people running the App Store and get that train wreck sorted too.
I am sincerely sad that I hadn’t really bothered listening to any Beatles music until the past couple of weeks. Seriously. #serious

I’m reading it hours late, but the best thing I’ve read today: “9/10 bromances end in dudevorce” Thanks for making my day, @supersloth.
Have a chunk of HTML/JS I’ve been dabbling with, mildly tempted to try rebuilding it as a Flex app for learning purposes.
Question for my Mac tweeps: Any of you running your iPhoto or iTunes libraries off of ext. drives? What about over Airport Extreme drive?
Was playing a bit of rock band to wind down, thought “wish I could play for real”. Got bugged with myself, realized I have a real guitar.
Pulled out the real guitar for the first time in months. Ow my fingers, but, good feeling.
I love how what some people in other parts of the country would call “a rainstorm” is “OMG CRAZY WEATHER OHNO” in #ABQ #nottheapocalypseguys
The line about “I’m pretty sure I stopped growing up in my teens and have been faking ever since” rings so true. http://xkcd.com/616/

What’s that? Street Fighter IV on sale for $20 at GameStop? I haven’t played it yet, but as an old fan of SF… that’s tempting.
RT @futuraprime “@brianarn made a pun (accidentally). I took it too far. Coders, some advice: http://bit.ly/I3GsB “
Was thinking of writing something web-based using drag’n’drop, realizing that I can just set up clicking instead. Yay simplicity.

Okay, so, I made the big move and things have been silent on the front. I’m a busy guy these days. However, in the process of rebuilding my site, I totally forgot to rebuild the comments section….

http://twitpic.com/bum2w - I sincerely hope this image isn’t real. I mean, Fox News has problems, sure, but… just, wow, horrible map.
I could get 750-4BLA but then you’d all get to see my horribly boring initials. I think I’ll keep 796-8195. :D
My only concern with changing it is that it’s on business cards and somewhat distributed around - 796-8195 isn’t too bad, really.
Didn’t like my phone number when it was GrandCentral, but now GVoice offers the ability to change it… but is it worth changing it? Hmm.

I’ve done similar things outside of CI, but I’m marking this so I can easily find it next time.
My coworker is out this week. Suddenly a table of thousands of users is down to one. I get to pretend to be a DBA now.

We have a piano in this house, as well as two guitars (one acoustic, one electric), and yet, I can’t play any with proficiency. :/
I find myself searching for good MIDIs on the ‘net. I am having flashbacks to the mid-90s. I think some of these sites are that old.
Okay, I was just making a crack about the age, but I swear, this page says “This page has been accessed 820953 times since 97-09-18.”
I remember enjoying audioblogging a little bit back five years ago, but I’m not so sure why now. Nonetheless, audioboo is kind of intriguing
Y’know what beats out 12 months same as cash? Cash. It’s like 12 months same as cash, but with no interest ever. #financialtipoftheday
If you haven’t seen the Google logo today, you’re missing out.
Wrapping up lunch by dipping these cherries into dark chocolate pudding. It’s about the best thing I’ve ever had.

First attempt at twitvid and it doesn’t work. Lovely. #fail
Update: Water Authority guy says “No way you have a leak”. So… random hissing sound in the shower… no clue what it could be now. Arg.
I think this is my first tweeted video. Lisa’s keyboard is loud and awesome. http://twitvid.com/AB683
Let’s try this again. Don’t fail me, twittelator. :D. Lisa’s keyboard is awesome. http://yfrog.us/5af46z
If any in the #ABQ have plumber recommendations, I would greatly appreciate them ASAP. =)
#confession I had never listened to a single Beatles album in its entirety until last week. I’m through a few now.
Hearing a kind of hissing sound behind the shower wall. I suspect that is not a good thing.
I am going to start tweeting one prime a day, in sequence. Seems fun. Today’s prime: 2. #primes

Today is the first day we’re leaving the dogs with access to the outside. Walls raised, new tall gates in place… still kind of nervous.
To keep an eye on things and make sure they’re okay, I have two different Ustreams running of their indoor space. Watching is addictive.
Finally saw Up today. Totally cried, at least twice. Not ashamed of that. Such a touching story.
The more I read about the Rock Band Creators thing, the more I wish I had original work of my own. Any bands want to work together? :D
Looking at my copy of 1984 on the shelf, I wonder when Amazon’s gonna send someone from the ministry of truth to confiscate it.
